Characteristics:
It is an electrode for hard-facing application on Carbon Steel and Low Alloy Steel. The weld deposit is highly resistant to abrasive wear with good toughness properties. Arc is stable, weld bead is smooth & uniform, slag detachability is good, and Weld Meta can be machined with carbide tools.
For build up & hard facing of shear blades, brake shoes, crane wheels, cams, gears, shafts, plough shears, conveyor parts & others, where abrasion combined with toughness is required.
Instructions for Use
Clean and degrease the parent metal, employ short arc and deposit stringer beads. Use low amperage and store the electrodes dry.
